Our Mission
1. Create a Presbytery of Detroit Middle East Network that includes all who are interested in better understanding the diversity and complexity of issues related to the Middle East.
2. Share information and resources in a variety of ways including pre-presbytery and other presentations, web postings, email and internet links, and Grapevine articles.
3. Increase awareness of the church’s mission partnerships in the Middle East and encourage support of projects that promote peace, cooperation and justice.
4. Network with the larger ecumenical and interfaith communities and other organizations with similar interests.
5. Work in specific ways toward peace and justice in the Middle East.

Excellent site!!
I’m a father, business person with an MBA and a military veteran (Army, infantry, Viet Nam). I woke up to my military experience in January of 2003. Since then I’ve been engaged in research on many topics. The Middle East is one.
Thank you for all that you do. I just “discovered” Ubuntu, thanks to your site.
I live near Ann Arbor. The Interfaith Council For Peace & Justice had a Middle East task force, but internal conflicts were too great.
They “reorganized” and excluded those who spoke up for Palestine or questioned Israel.
